What to bring on the day:
What to expect
The first appointment is important to get to know you and your child. Most appointments will last one hour and will be a detailed history of the child’s health from birth to date. Thorough physical examination will be performed including growth parameters. In some cases, an opportunistic examination may be all we can do if the child is distress or might be deferred if the child is anxious.
If further investigations or information is required, we will outline the process and book a timely follow up appointment. This might include assessments from therapist and the school.
